Mahabharat written update 24th January 2014

Today's Highlights
1. Bheem is shocked when the rakshashas say that
he will be marrying Hidimbi and denies. Hidimbi is
devastated. Rakshasas say that if he denies then
they will all go without a king and they will perish. It
is a rule that the one who kills the current king will
marry the king's daughter or sister. THey ask him
why he killed their king then. Bheems moves from
there. Other pandavas are quiet.
2. Hidimbi is crying in a corner when Kunti
approaches and consoles her. She explains that
humans cannot marry Rakshasas. Hidimbi talks
about her heart and love and she tells that if they
cant stay with her for long, then atleast let them
marry until she gets a son. Kunti tells if rakshasas
and Humans marry they will get a son like Ravan.
Hidimbi says Vibhishana was also born to the same
pair. She asks Kunti to trust her love. She begs her
to let her son live with her until a heir is born. Kunti
agrees
3.The wedding ceremony between Bheem and
Hidimbi happens. Kunti wishes that Bhishm is there
to bless the first marriage in the kuru clan. Sahadev
asks if it is dharma to marry a rakshas. Kunti says
that when love prevails it is dharma. they all smile
at how happy the couple looks. The rakshas lift
hidimbi when varamala time comes, Arjun, Nakul
and Sahadev lift Bheem and they also get blessings
from their Bhabhi after the wedding. They then hug
Bheem. the couple get blessings from Kunti and
yudishtra.
4. At Hastinapur the priest from Panchal arrives
with a pot and a message. Dushasan burns his
fingers with the pot. Duryodhan is angry to see the
message has nothing. Vidur tells that the message
has to be shown in front of the pot for the words to
appear.
5. The message is from panchal inviting the kuru
crown prince for draupadi's swayamvar. Duryodhan
is angry that they have insulted them with such a
mystery message. The priest says that Draupadi
was born of fire and that why such a message.
Duryodhan wants to go. Sakuni says that he is not
yet the crown prince.
